Hi! I'm Tiffany, and this is Superteam.
I started Superteam inspired by my own experience navigating the complex realm of disability programs and services for my younger sister, who’s on the autism spectrum.
As anyone who has ever interacted with the system will tell you, to say it is a deeply convoluted and soul sucking process would somehow be an understatement — to which I was no exception. But what motivated me to start Superteam wasn't just my frustration, but witnessing how these supports genuinely changed my sister's life.
I've always wanted my sister to have the opportunity to experience a lot of the things I take for granted: the opportunity to meet new people, go on bad dates, or even have a job she can’t stop complaining about. But more than anything, I want for her what we all want for the people we love — to build a life that’s filled with people, places, and communities where she feels like she belongs. To look back at 80 years old and really feel like she lived the life she wanted to. These supports not only gave me hope, but made it a real possibility.
Superteam is currently a small but mighty team of one (me) on a mission to make it easier for people with disabilities and their loved ones to do just that.
